This wasn’t the first banner to hang from Andrzej Wejchert’s iconic water tower. During Rag Week in 1986, a group of Architechture students called the ‘Brighten up Belfield Bow-Tie Committee’ installed a massive bow-tie made from chicken wire at the base of the Dodecahedron. It remaine in place for less than 24 hours.
